Canon EOS R10 — Film Looks & Free Picture Styles
The R10 is the modern entry into the EOS R system: a small APS-C body with the fast subject-detection autofocus and the video features that made the R line popular with creators. Like every EOS it carries the full Picture Style engine, including the three User Def. slots where a film-look file lives once registered — after that it behaves exactly like Standard or Portrait.
Which is the whole point of loading a look in the camera: the JPEG leaves the card already developed, with the palette you chose for the day. No queue of files waiting for an edit, and if you shoot RAW+JPEG the negative stays untouched underneath.
How to load a film look on the EOS R10
Picture style files are registered from a computer. Install EOS Utility (free from Canon), connect the R10 over USB and open "Camera settings/Remote shooting" → "Register User Defined style". Pick one of the three User Def. slots, choose the .PF3 and it lands on the camera within seconds, under the name embedded in the file. The R10 manual points to EOS Utility for exactly this step: there is no register-from-card option, so if you were looking for one in the menu, that is why.
The step-by-step with every menu, plus the Wi-Fi variant, is in the installation guide.

FAQ
Does the EOS R10 support custom Picture Styles?
Yes. Every EOS carries the Picture Style engine with three User Def. slots, and the R10 is no exception — a film-look file registered in one of those slots is selected like any factory style.
Can I load a style without a computer?
No. Canon bodies register picture style files through EOS Utility, over USB or Wi-Fi depending on the body. The camera menu lets you adjust a registered style, but not import one from the card.
Do film looks work on R10 video?
Yes — Picture Styles apply to movie recording too, so your clips come out with the same grade as your stills.
